Link-Belt Boosts The TCC-1200’s Lift Capacity

Kentucky-based Link-Belt just launched the latest version of its TCC-1200 Telescopic Crawler Crane, which the company plans to begin shipping in Q4 of this year.

    Colossal Capacity

In the process of updating the TCC-1200, Link-Belt equipped it with the same lower car body as the one on the heavy-duty TCC-1400. This increased the TCC-1200’s base rating from 110 tons to 120 tons, while supporting the same lifting radius. With this update, the TCC-1200’s capacity chart is nearly as impressive as similar-class lattice crawler cranes.

Features of the TCC-1200 include a full power boom constructed from ultra-high-strength steel, a main boom height of 40 to 150 feet (12 to 46 meters), Teflon wear pucks in place of boom grease, and your choice of three track widths. The extended, intermediate, and retracted models offers 18.2-foot (5.5-meter), 15.6-foot (4.8-meter), and 11.9-foot (3.6-meter) tracks. According to Link-Belt, the TCC-1200 is ideal for a variety of telecrawler tasks in energy, industrial, and infrastructure applications.

    Look Ma, No Wires!

Link-Belt also announced a wireless remote control system as an available option for the new TCC-1200 and TCC-1400. With this product, the machine’s operator doesn’t have to be in the cab to control the telecrawler.
