Demag’s LRS Wheel Block System can stand up to the rigors of repetitive material handling tasks, including general manufacturing, automobile assembly, die handling, mill work, and more. The system supports maximum wheel loads of up to 14,300 pounds (6,486 kilograms) and travel speeds of up to 780 feet per minute (238 meters per minute). It features a spheroidal-graphite cast-iron housing for added protection, and the entire system is designed for maximum uptime. “An added bonus with the Demag LRS Wheel Block system is that it’s virtually maintenance-free,” Stephens explains. “Even if maintenance or replacement is necessary, the precise surfaces virtually eliminate time-consuming realignment of the components.”
