Hiab Launches Free Version Of HiConnect Remote Fleet Monitoring Service
Hiab is introducing a free edition of its HiConnect web portal for new or retrofitted machines with wireless telematics connectivity. The free version of the HiConnect service allows users to access a live map showing the location of connected machines, their times of operation, used capacity, and future maintenance dates predicated on usage rate.
The full, subscription version of HiConnect has been renamed HiConnect Premium. It supplies more details on the fleet and its operations. Among the insights HiConnect Premium provides are unit productivity, safety concerns, opportunities to update individual operators’ training, and remote diagnostics and troubleshooting. Both the free and subscription editions of the web portal are accessible through mobile devices and computers.
“No matter the size or sector, we want to empower our customers to be more productive, reduce unnecessary downtime, and improve safety,” says Hiab’s Vice President of New Business Solutions Jan-Erik Lindfors. “The free version of HiConnect is a great way to provide data-driven insights and benefits to all our customers.”
Availability
HiConnect support comes standard on new Hiab loader cranes, MultiLift hooklifts, Moffett truck-mounted forklifts, and Waltco tail lifts. Customers also have the option to retrofit their existing compatible Hiab machinery with a kit. To get started using HiConnect, customers can register their equipment online or contact their local Hiab dealer.
