STANDARD EQUIPMENT ROTATING BED: High strength fabricated steel rotating bed is mounted on 2.43 m (8'-0") diameter turntable bearing. DRUMS: Two equal width winches 805.4 mm (31.7") wide and 603.25 mm (23.75") diameter are driven by independent variable displacement axial piston hydraulic motors through planetary reduction mounted on separate front and rear shafts with anti-friction bearings. Drums are grooved for 26 mm rope. Ratchet and pawl on front drum standard for use with luffing jib. Optional boom butt mounted auxiliary (3rd) drum with ratchet and pawl needed for use with luffing jib when 2 load lines are required. Powered hoisting/lowering operation standard with automatic (spring applied, hydraulically released) multi-disc brakes, and drum rotation indicators. Free fall drums are optional. BOOM HOIST: Independent boom hoist consists of a 285.7 mm (11.2") wide, and 482.6 mm (19") diameter drum grooved for 22 mm diameter wire rope. Includes 250 m (820') of 22 mm (~7/8") diameter wire rope for 18-part line reeving. Drums are powered by a fixed displacement hydraulic motor coupled to an internal brake and planetary gearbox equipped with ratchet and pawl. SWING SYSTEM: Independent swing powered by a fixed displacement hydraulic motor coupled to a planetary gearbox with internal brake. OPERATOR'S STATION: Fully enclosed and insulated galvannealed steel module mounted to the left front corner of the rotating bed. Module is equipped with sliding door including large safety glass windows on all sides and roof. Dual working lights, signal horn, cab space heater, front and roof windshield wipers, dome light, sun visor and shade, fire extinguisher, air conditioning and swing and travel alarm are standard equipment. Operator’s station can be repositioned for transportation. Protective nylon window covers are standard. ENGINE: Cummins Model QSL9-310, Tier 4f diesel, 6-cylinder, 231 kW (310 HP) 2100 governed RPM. Includes engine block heater (240 V), hydraulic oil cooler, radiator and hydraulically powered fan. Two open loop pumps and one accessory pump provide hydraulic power enabling simultaneous multi-function capability. One closed loop pump provides independent hydraulic power for the swing system. An additional pump is required for free fall. Two 12-volt maintenance-free, Group 8D batteries, 1300 CCA at -18°C (0° F), 24 volt starting and 100-amp alternator. One 620-liter (163 gal) capacity diesel fuel tank, mounted on upperworks, with level indicator on tank and in operator’s cab. 500-hour engine service kit and 1000-hour hydraulic service filter kit are provided with initial shipment. CONTROLS: Hydraulic piloted controls provide instant positive and smooth response. Controls include Manitowoc's CANBUS operating system providing microprocessor driven control logic, on-board diagnostics, and service information. Block-up limit control is standard for hoist and whip lines. Integrated Rated Capacity Limiter system (RCL) is standard for main boom and upper boom point. “Function cut-out” or “warning only” operation are available. CARBODY ASSEMBLY: Connects rotating bed to crawler assemblies. High strength fabricated steel assembly with FACT™ connection system for fast installation and removal of crawler assemblies. CRAWLER ASSEMBLIES: Crawler assemblies are 7,99 m (26’ 3”) long with 1,1 m (43”) wide cast steel crawler pads and sealed "low maintenance" intermediate rollers. Each crawler is powered independently by a variable displacement hydraulic motor and includes two hydraulically powered pin actuators for fast installation and removal from car body. Crawlers provide ample tractive effort that allows counter-rotation with full rated load. MAST: Moving mast is 7,2 m (23' 7") long and connects the boom hoist reeving to the boom pendants. When used with optional self-erect package, the mast cylinder and integrated hook are utilized for assembly and disassembly. Mast self-erect cylinder is capable of lifting and positioning the crawler assemblies, stacking the counterweights and assembling the boom and jib. BASIC BOOM: The lift crane is equipped with 15 m (49’) No. 74A basic tubular chord boom consisting of 6 m (20') butt, and 9 m (30') top with six 66 cm (26”) diameter roller bearing sheaves on one shaft. Includes rope guides, boom angle indicator and 13.6 mton (15-ton) swivel hook and weight ball. Boom inserts available in 3 m (10’), 6 m (19’), and 12 m (39’) lengths utilizing steel suspension straps. Powered boom hinge system including cylinder, piping, operating controls and locking device standard. Includes physical spring-cushioned boom stop and automatic boom stop. Boom walkways are included as standard. Preparation for boom butt mounted auxiliary (3rd) drum is optional. COUNTERWEIGHT: Total Series-1 upper counterweight assembly is 46 000 kg (101,413 lb.) consisting of a counterweight tray 16 000 kg (35,274 lb.), and six side counterweight boxes 5 000 kg (11,023 lb.) each.
