    About Dur-A-Lift

Dur-A-Lift’s slogan, “We speak bucket truck,” is an accurate reflection of the company’s focus on the bucket truck segment. Also known as telescopic articulated bucket trucks or aerial platform lift trucks, Dur-A-Lift manufactures bucket trucks for both personnel- and material-handling jobs. The specialized trucks often include features that improve functionality on the jobsite, such as a forestry bucket truck with a built-in chipper or a tracked aerial lift that’s able to climb a 40-degree slope and drive through water.

    Material Handlers

Available in working heights up to 67 feet (20.4 meters), Dur-A-Lift’s material handling bucket trucks typically feature a jib and winch to lift up to 1,000 pounds (454 kilograms). The baskets are generally constructed from insulated or non-insulated fiberglass, or take the form of an aluminum platform with guardrails. Some models feature a 180-dgree basket rotator and can hold one or two people. Tracked lifts are available that are right at home on rough terrain, slopes, and other areas where traction can be a concern.

    Personnel Bucket Trucks

Dur-A-Lift’s personnel bucket trucks are available in a range of lift heights, with the largest models supporting heights more than 60 ft (18.3 m) and a maximum side reach range of more than 30 ft. (9.1 m). Telescopic (non-articulated) and articulated (non-telescopic) personnel trucks are also offered for service jobs that require less flexibility for crew access. Similar to the material handler trucks, the personnel trucks are generally offered in insulated or non-insulated fiberglass or aluminum baskets that can hold either one or two crew members.
