    About Versalift

Versalift’s origins go back to the 1960s when Bill Blewett and Russell Howard saw an opportunity to make the job of telephone line workers easier and safer. Along with Charlie Turner, they produced the V-24 aerial lift truck in Clifton, Texas. Howard and Turner, who purchased Blewett’s stake in the company, renamed the company Versalift and moved from Clifton to Waco, Texas. In 1968, they formed the Time Manufacturing Company, Versalift’s parent company.

    Versalift TEL-29 Telescopic Bucket Truck

In the decades that followed, Versalift not only added a second location in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, (called “Versalift East”) but also expanded to reach a global audience with locations in Denmark, France, the United Kingdom, and Benelux, which includes Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg.

Also, in that time, Versalift introduced several new products designed to support a wide range of applications outside of telecommunications, including electric utility, power distribution and transmission, tree care, wind energy, and government work. Its offerings now include standard and high access aerial lifts, bridge inspection vehicles, bucket trucks, cable placers, digger derricks, and more.
